Tad Mann (Johnnie's Tour Manager 38 years, who flew in from Las Vegas) presented Polk County Historian, Arlie Holt with a commemorative plaque during the event. Johnnie Ray's 57-year old nephew is on the right, Randy Ray.

Dallas Boy Scout Andy Dowell, who portrayed Johnnie Ray in the Southbank Show Biography earlier this year was presented with a framed photo of himself and Johnnie Ray.


The Statesman Journal reported that fiddlers who performed in the Southbank Biography would aslo perform at the event, this is a performance during the intermission.


Joy Hanni, who traveled from Port St. Lucie, Florida, with the Scout who portrayed Johnnie Ray in the Biography.
