Jane with Mitch & Johnnie
To: Johnnie Ray Fan Club,
This is a picture of my wife taken with Mitch Miller and Johnnie Ray in the spring of 1952, Jane was then 17 year old Jane Crowell. She had been named "Miss Columbia Records"". She won this title while she was DJ at WKXL radio in Concord NH. Jane was a senior in High School at Concord High. She was brought to New York City for the award and a luncheon with Mitch Miller and Johnnie Ray. She says they were very kind to her during her visit. I believe that Johnnie Ray was at the Copacabana at this time.
 
The The person on the far right is Brad Lacey also at WKLX and a chaperone for Jane for the Honor with Mitch and Johnnie.
